There is a theory about the origin in náhuatl of Mexico word:
"Mexi" and the completion "co",
that means "Mexicas place" or
"Mexit" "Mexitl place."
|
There isAlso
the theory that the word Mexico comes from
"Maxtli" (that talks about to
"moon" or "goddess of the
moon" and "xietli"
"center" that is interpreted like
"the one that this in the center of the
moon" or "in the center of mextli's
moon."
|
Also it precedes his settler ancient the mexicas.
The Aztecas (or mexica) say that it is "place
where the sun and the moon are joined."
